SOSChildCare.com is a membership site for parents and child carers to connect. The website enables parents to find quality child care while child carers can find a job by signing up free, creating their public profile and advertising their qualifications and experience in the child care industry. Parents can also sign up free, create their public profile and advertise a child care position, by providing basic details about their family.
The site contains a Credentials Upload feature (child carers can upload supporting documentation to a secure server, as evidence of the credentials they have stated), a Feedback rating system (parents can comment on carers they have hired and carers can rate parents they have worked for - star ratings and comments submission), nifty icons in search results and profiles to visually identify whether a member has opted into Shared Care, Emergency/Short Notice or Respite Care. The site is written in PHP and PERL and contains search forms linking to the MySQL database of signed up members.
Site features: login, complex searches, internal private mail, instant notifications, credentials upload centre, feedback system (star ratings & comments) member profiles, photo upload, change password/forgotten password and more.

Customised Organ Music Online Shop
Nowadays, many churches struggle to find and pay for an organist to perform at weddings, funerals and Sunday services. This website offers a great solution by selling quality funeral and wedding services and regular updates of Sunday services. The site sells custom-made MP3 organ music files through its online shop which is linked to a shopping cart system. Purchasers automatically receive a download link, which expires after 48 hours. The shopping cart tracks all sales through an electronic sales ledger and of course the site is built in a content management system for easy updates.

A series of three banner adverts animated in Flash. These ads were displayed on a travel website and linked to the client's website in Ireland. All ads include adtracker coding so that click success rate can be tracked.

Design of St Clement's-on-the-Hill Anglican Church website. The site is in a Content Management System (CMS) so the client can update and edit the site themselves without the need for software or web building skills. There is an automated news stories function. News articles can have scheduled publishing dates, be set to expire, and are automatically archived. Other functions are a search box (with back end data collection of users' keywords), site map and interactive zoomable map.
Asia Microfinance Forum 2008 - Advisory Note
Design and layout of Forum advisory note in InDesign. 6 pages full colour A4. The client needed a sleek design suitable for a high profile Forum taking place in Vietnam. The look of this document sets the precedent for further planned Forum materials. In Vietnam, the bamboo tree is the symbol of fast development, strength, and normal life. It relates to the dream of the Vietnamese to acquire assets and expand business.
Design and layout of full colour 8 page A5 brochure using InDesign and Illustrator. This image shows the front and back cover layout (A4 folded to A5).
The client wanted a newsletter that they could update themselves in Word. I designed a template in Word using styles formatting and linked text columns. The template is user-friendly and enables the client to send out newsletters which have been created inhouse looking good but still cost-effective.

An A5 invitation that the client wanted to be able to print inhouse on their black & white laser printer. The design takes on a classic and stylish appearance by incorporating some of St John's Cathedral's architectural drawings. The original architect's vision of the completed Cathedral forms the cover centrepiece.
An interactive and scalable map solution for the Anglican Diocese of Brisbane, using Google's map technology. Background programming on this map creates red markers which expand and collapse. The markers pinpoint the locations, and provide contact details, for the multitude of parishes.
